ABOUT

Picture

Eli Pafumi has been on a hunt for the groove since early childhood. Groomed in rock-n-roll, with a never-ending exploration of composers, new instruments and upcoming songwriters, Eli has become a musician with a unique voice of his own, poised to move to the next level.

Eli is a three-time Bernard/Ebb Songwriting Awards finalist, a TEDx speaker and composer for live theatre. His theatrical work has been done at The Hub Theatre and Shippensberg University. Pafumi has also taught as an independent music instructor in guitar, bass, ukulele, piano, drums, voice, music production and songwriting in dozens of private studios and public schools across the country for almost 10 years. Eli’s debut solo album Finding North released in February 2016 and 2019 saw Pafumi’s first credit as producer on RitaRita’s debut LP Savta’s Garden.

Having spent the past three years touring and performing his music around the world, Eli is now prepared to take his skills back to the studio and online classroom. Partnering again with brother Jere Pafumi, Eli will continue his work as band leader and manager of recording project RitaRita through the making of their sophomore album.

Eli is currently based in Los Angeles, California

Hear from some others:

"[Savta's Garden] is deep and expansive, but approachable and listenable, even in its most psychedelic explorations...The dichotomy of those sounds, instead of fighting each other, blend into a lysergic tapestry of solid songs that initially come across like some decades-old recording relic, but settle in as a modern record with some solid historical reference points"

“I was told a ‘young, popular, local act’ would be opening for us at the Tally Ho in Leesburg, VA. I didn't think anything of it, but as I was changing in the green room I heard him sound check and had to stop what I was doing to watch him. I couldn't believe this huge voice carrying thoughtful lyrics was coming out of this young person. I've been a fan ever since, and I can't wait to watch this star rise and say ‘I knew him when...’”  - Rachel Beauregard, Hozier/Native Run

"Even performing solo acoustic, Eli Pafumi is a captivating acoustic singer/songwriter who has a fantastic voice and plenty of groove. I was most impressed by his ability to play such a rhythmically complex guitar part while improvising the vocal melody simultaneously. Plus, he’s a skilled and tasteful lead and solo player as well. Sounds like he should be opening up for John Mayer. Looking forward to staying in touch with Eli as his career progresses!" - Conrad Osipowicz, Blue Room Productions
